LedgerWay exists because the traditional arrangement, an accountant who appears once a year to file what has already happened, was never much use to the person running the business.
Our story
Clean books and accurate filings are the floor, not the ceiling
Our founder grew up inside a family business and watched the same pattern every year. The accountant arrived in the spring, filed what had already happened, and left. The work was accurate. It was also too late to change anything.
LedgerWay was built the other way round. We bring established CPA practices, some with fifty years of work behind them, into one modern firm. The depth of experience stays exactly where it is. What changes is how you reach it: securely online, with a reply inside a business day, from a team whose names you already know.
That now covers more than 5,100 clients across 52 industries, with offices in five cities and virtual service in all fifty states. The firm is organised around what happens between the filings, because that is the part that changes the outcome.
We are not trying to be the largest firm in the country. We are trying to be the one your business does not outgrow.

LedgerWay operates under an Alternative Practice Structure. LedgerWay, Inc. is not a licensed CPA firm and provides tax, bookkeeping, advisory and consulting services. Attest services are provided by AMS CPAs, a licensed CPA firm.
